I need advice. I wnat to be goth but my mom won't let me because she thinks ALL goths are evil. Any advice?

first off are you really goth? is that what you feel on the inside? if your favorit color is black, or blood red then yes . do you like being outside at night? if so yes.. do you enjoy the sight of brutality, carnage, or chaos. if so then yes your a goth if any of this applies.

and if so tell her that you can not change what you or who you are on the inside and that you hope some day she will understand...

this may only apply if you are serously gothic or dark hearted as i like to call it since most goths now days are fakes.. carefull you don't become gothic because you think its cool. being goth is very hard and you will be looked at differently through out your entire life.... it's just how things are,,, people fear what they don't understand...

I am goth and looking for other goth teens to talk too.

im something more heavy metal side..... but it will be a placer to talk with U my name is gary im from south america, i just know some gothic bands, but i love them!!!!!!!!!!

Ever wondered why someone is a goth?

In far eastern psychology there is a term for the mindset of a modern day goth. This mindset is called abhorrence cataclysmal (dont bother looking that one up). It's what causes one to mantain a state of darkness, depression, and the need for personal rebellion aginst authority. It means they are self distructive human beings because they are not meantally fit to deal with pain correctly and find it easier to subcontiously take it out on themselves.

It's funny that what makes so many people turn themselves into a goth is just a brane function... It's ironic that its also a simple brane function (or consistency of thought) that makes people into Christians, Satanists, Lovers, and haters. What consumes your thought's controls your mind, what controls your mind, controls your life. Your life dosen't have to suck... If you change the way you look at things then things will change into a whole new world.

Ponder that for awhile. ;)

Someone did tell me once that these groups have a "no posting policy". wtf? this is a group TO COMMUNICATE, not just one to be part of...especially a "gothic" one.
You may be goths and all but when we all are "suposed" to be then let us be goths together....
